For benchmark monitoring, record scores at least three times per year (fall, winter, spring). For students receiving intervention, weekly or bi-weekly progress monitoring is recommended by most RTI/MTSS frameworks. The more data points you have, the clearer the growth trend becomes.

The chart plots WCPM scores over time, creating a visual representation of the student's reading fluency trajectory. An upward trend indicates growth, while a flat or declining line may signal the need for instructional changes. The "Change" column in the data table shows the difference between consecutive assessments.

All data is stored locally in your browser's localStorage — it never leaves your device or gets sent to any server. This means your student data is completely private. However, clearing your browser data will also clear the progress records, so consider exporting important data before clearing.
What growth rate should I expect? expand_more
Typical weekly growth rates for students receiving intervention range from 1-2 WCPM per week. Without intervention, seasonal growth varies: 1st graders may gain 2-3 WCPM per week in spring, while 5th graders may gain 0.5-1 WCPM per week.
